Two fire engines block New Road |
||||
New Road and Lower Road resembled a summer outing with onlookers watching smoke billowing out over the road. The fire from Lower Road had spread through the fence to a house in New Road and then caught fire to the garage which is integral to the house. In hot weather it is possible to compost heaps to self ignite, so extra care should be taken and checks made that this does not happen when you are away from your home. |
