Pig Roast at the Jolly Farmer

The Kaffirs of Cookham Dean had their annual Pig Roast at The Jolly Farmer on Saturday 7th July. In spite of dreadful weather over the previous fortnight this was the first day that the rain stayed off. Laura Duffy who runs the Jolly Farmer said "It was a fabulous event raising over £1,700 for good causes in and around the Cookhams".

| Everyone appreciated the sunny afternoon and balmy evening so the crowds came in their droves and stayed late enjoying The piggy rolls, burgers & hot dogs, not to mention the beer and Pimms tents. | ||

| There were lots of traditional fairground games like Splat The Rat, Tombolas and The coconut shy, what an evening. | ||
