Pam Hammond Presents Silent Auction Winner With her Painting (19 December 2001) |
||||||||
The Cookham Society's Christmas Card which depicted Cookham Moor in the snow was based on a painting by Pam Hammond. The Cookham Society had organised a blind auction of the painting and the person with the highest bid was presented with the painting by Pam Hammond herself on Cookham Moor this morning. |

Bill Spicer, who is the Cookham Society's Membership Secretary said that there was not a single card left for sale, 830 packs had been sold, also packs left over from previous years had also gone. This was extremely successful and we could have sold more. | ||||||||
