Cookham children visit Belgian Embassy in London

Platt and Cookham Rise pupils accompanied Africa Turns Green Ambassadors,
Julie and Lisa, to a special reception
hosted by His Excellency Mr. Johan Verbeke, Ambassador of Belgium
and Miss Sévérine Dieudonné, Founder of Africa Turns Green. Around 100
guests gathered at The Ambassadors residence in London, on Tuesday 22nd
October, to celebrate Dr. Gladys Kalema-Zikosuka and 10 years of
Conservation Through Public Health (CTPH)
Cookham
Rise Governor, Dr. J. Edwards, Jack Armstrong, Beth Peters, Reno Roberts
and Sir William Borlase Grammar School Head, Dr. P. Holding, also
attended. Julie
and Lisa said " We had a very enjoyable evening, we all came away
even more inspired if not a little tired." The group travelled up to
