On Monday 23 April Herries School in Cookham Dean launched an Extended Day Care for Nursery children with a fun-filled morning with Sima’s Actions Kids and some other very special guests. Balloons, music and cake were all enjoyed as part of the launch of the new facility that the school is now offering. The school’s new Headmistress, Sophie Green, has worked hard to make this facility available to parents, both existing and new.

“Safe and reliable childcare is now such an important commodity for working parents,” she said. “Our Nursery is so nurturing and our children so happy that many parents have expressed an interest in being able to leave their children with us for the whole of the working day. I am delighted that we are now able to offer this.”

Herries has employed a new member of staff so that just the right pre and after school care can be enjoyed by their 2,3 and 4 year olds. The Deputy Mayor and Mayoress, Councillor Colin Rayner and his wife, Samantha Rayner were very interested to hear of this new development and attended the event which took place in the school hall and nursery classrooms. |
