It's a glorious winter
morning in Cookham. The Moor is flooded and covered in ice and the
road is closed with community wardens manning each each to allow emergency
services over the Causeway. The causeway is unlocked and ready for use
if needed.
Meanwhile the ponies are
crunching over the frozen puddles looking for something to eat, and the
village Christmas tree outside the Crown pub is standing next to a
frozen lake!
If it stays like this
the Sunday High Street Christmas Fayre will look stunning!
