Poundfield House is looking worse for wear this weekend after a vehicle has smashed into the railings and caused several thousand pounds of damage.

 

Someone has come round the mini roundabout at the junction of Maidenhead Road and the Pound and ploughed into the railings leaving them beyond repair and ripping them from the wall.

 

It's believed the vehicle was probably driving at excessive speed to have caused this much damage.

 

The speed limit in the Pound is 20mph and the limit on Maidenhead Road and Station Hill is 30 mph.
