The
Volunteer of the Year Awards were held at Eton College Rowing Centre
in Dorney on Thursday 4th October 2012. The awards are organised by Windsor
and Maidenhead Voluntary Action. Sarah Parfitt who attended
said "It was a lovely, life-affirming evening!".
Peta
Bee and the Cookham Running Club committee and Jill Morris from
Elizabeth House were all shortlisted for their voluntary
activities. Congratulations to all of them!

Morris from Elizabeth House in Cookham who was shortlisted for the
"over 60s category"

Dieudonne from "Africa Turns Green" who was shortlisted for the
"25 -59 years category".
Sophie Christiansen, who won three gold
medals at the Paralympics in the Equestrian events and comes from Ascot
was the guest of honour.
