The visitors from Cookham's twin town in
St Benoit France, have arrived at Cookham station on the 18:10 train
from Paddington after leaving Poitiers at 9:30 this morning. They
came on Eurostar from Lille to Waterloo and then made their way across
London.

The French visitors will be staying with
members of Cookham Twinning. There are seventeen in all ranging
from teenagers to OAPs.

||||||||
A packed weekend is planned, starting with a visit to the Stanley Spencer Gallery on Saturday with the Magic Flute at Eton in the evening, then a trip to London on Sunday, followed by drinks with Twinning's President, Richard Simmonds, and the a Halloween Party at the Jolly Farmer. | ||||||||

High Road. Penny is on the left of the photo.

ride to Sophie Clement while her husband Dominique looks on.
Dominique is Mayor of St Benoit. The Malletts stayed with the Clements
last year in St Benoit.
