2017 Caterpillar’s Crazy Tea Party

Caterpillars crazy tea-party You’ve never seen the Tarrystone like it! The Caterpillar’s Crazy Tea Party has taken it over and you are invited to this close-knit, woolly family’s party. With no flat surfaces, the tea service and cakes tumble higgledy-piggledy – chaos reigns!

The 50, caterpillar, tablecloth, crockery, cakes and flowers were all knitted or crocheted for the festival by the Cookham Knit-and-Natter group which meets at Cookham library every Monday 2-4.

Look out for it at Odney Lane from 4th to 22nd May – don’t be late – he might grow up and fly off if you leave it too long!

Group members include: Ruth Daniel, Joy Poulter, Janet Fisher, Carole Cameron, Sue Madelin and Maggi Bradley. Featured in the photo from left to right: Ruth, Joy, Carol, Maggi, Janet.

And don’t forget “The Name Game” – inspired by the important central character to this amazing Tea Party! Details on the festival website www.cookhamfestival.org.uk and at The Sculpture Garden.
