Work with professional artists to create your own work of art to take away in just 75 minutes!

Saturday, 13 May and Sunday, 14 May from 11am

Parish Centre, Church Gate SL6 9SP,  booking essential.

Create your own work of art in just 75  minutes using top quality materials under the guidance of professional artists. Here are seven ways to unleash your hidden creativity! With small class sizes, early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.  Work by the tutors will be on display and for sale.

ABSTRACT TEXTILE
PRINTING with Jenny Thorn

Learn some simple printing techniques and print a length of fabric big enough to take home and sew into a cushion cover. Experiment with mono printing and printing textures.

Suitable for adults and children over 10.

POPPY FIELDS IN ACRYLIC with Maria Meerstadt

No experience necessary - just put on some old clothes and paint your own poppy field. Lots of colour and fun.

Arts Hub Ceramics workshop 1
CERAMICS with Helen D Evans

Come and make clay objects based on nature. Choose to make something sculptural
or functional such as a planter using slabs of clay. There is an additional charge for firing work (payable on the day) and collecting at a later date.

TEXTILE PICTURE WORKSHOP with Jenny Thorn

Come and have a go at making your own textile picture using machine embroidery with the addition of beads and buttons to complete the picture. All work is framed ready for you to take home and display.
