CHAIRMANS SUBMISSIONS:
The Clerk spoke of two consultations linked with the Local
Development Framework that need to be answered. * Core Strategy and Delivery and Development Principles Development Plan. * Options Consultation & Strategic Housing Lane Availability Assessment SHLAA The Clerk alerted the Councillors to the listing on Appendix nine of the SHLAA Cookham had the second highest acreage of Green Belt land that had been identified for possible housing in the future a total of 125 hectares. Cllr Roger Piercey left the room at this point. Cllr Woodbridge said that it was up to the Councillors to give guidance to the Clerk in their answers. Cllr Barnes said that it would be helpful to know the ratios of how this 125 hectares had been accumulated. The Clerk agreed to try to find out. There were several other items. Cookham Dean Football Club asked permission for their league to play the semi-final matches on the Alfred Major. They had to be played at a neutral venue and our pitches were considered adequate quality for these fixtures. The Council gave their approval with the proviso that the parking was allowing for emergency vehicles to get through.
The Council AGREED to the purchase of Microsoft Publisher software for the Clerk to design some literature although Cllr Coker had reservations. It was AGREED to hire a projector from RBWM for our Annual Parish Meeting.
The owners of Meadow View were still asking for permission to make a gate in to the allotment so that they could walk through with their children. It was AGREED to allow them to make a gate with the proviso that this pedestrian access did not give them right of way. The meeting closed at 8.45pm. |
