OPEN
FORUM:
Cllr Fiona Hewer spoke to express her concern regarding the state of the
roads in Cookham. Cllr Hewer mentioned Spring Lane in addition to the
roads the Parish Council had suggested to RBWM at the start of the winter.
She asked for the Parish Council to press RBWM to make these repairs a
priority as soon as possible. Cllr Ricardo then asked for Ferry Lane to be
added to the list and Cllr Wellman mentioned Cookham High Street as being
in a poor state.
A Cookham Dean resident then
spoke to query the response by RBWM to an application to extend the house
owned by Mr and Mrs Crook of Hillways, Bigfrith Lane. Mr and Mrs Sale
asked why the Borough had instructed the owners to look at demolition
rather than working with the existing building. Mr Crook also spoke to
emphasise the same concerns. The Chairman stated that the Parish Council
had not been involved with the earlier discussions on this property and
could only look at the current planning applications on the agenda. The
Chairman then sought permission to consider Pln Appn 09/00406 first. This
was agreed.
