Are you an Equitable victim in the East Anglia area? If so, you are invited to a meeting convened by a group of ELAS members at The Assembly House in Theatre Street, Central Norwich at 11 am. on Friday 31 January 2003.  We are hoping to have local MPs, an Equitable director, action group leaders and possibly others there too who can answer your questions and listen to your suggestions and comments.

Our aim is to contact the many annuitants and other aggrieved ELAS policyholders who may well still be unaware of the importance of keeping pressure on HMG to get on with the business of righting the injustices suffered because of inadequate regulation by the FSA. If you know of ELAS annuitants and policyholders “out East” who are possibly still blissfully unaware of our mutual plight, please encourage them to come to this meeting.

As well as showing how concerns over government maladministration should be directed in the most appropriate way, we want at the meeting to draw on the ideas of ELAS victims about action which may be most effective when undertaken by a local pressure group.
