Trinity Festival - Digital Photography Workshop 2 (with thanks to Jeremy Wilson Photography)
(28 April 2003)

On Wednesday
27th April, the last of the Digital Photography Workshops took place. On
Saturday there was a camera walk and participants were able to use their digital cameras
and then in the workshops they learnt how to manipulate the results.
Gone are the days when enhancing a photo took long hours, with computer
programs this can be done in seconds. The computer package used
was Adobe's Photoshop, which is considered the creme de la creme for
graphic manipulation. Attendees were amazed at what could be done to a
run of the mill digital photograph, the size could be changed, frames
could be added, red eye could be obliterated, colours could be changed
and images could be superimposed, making the photo a far cry from the
original photograph.
