These local instrumentalists and vocalists were charming, talented and witty – what a joy! The youngsters, aged between 14 to 19, at exam time - by the way, took time out to give their audience an evening to remember.

Shepherded by the inspirational Jean Garrett we were shown the joys of the romantic composers through to the twentieth century with great skill and professionalism.

One cannot, in fairness, name names, it was an exhilarating experience from each and every one – they were all stars!
