Penny
and Peter Bysshe are giving taster sessions for complete beginners
under the auspices of the qualified dance teacher David Allwood, who
attends all the workshops.
Participants
are being introduced to the basics of the waltz, social foxtrot,
cha-cha-cha,
the quickstep and jive.
As
a complete beginner with two left feet I was a tad dubious that I
would pick up the steps let alone glide around the dance floor.
But
3 classes in I can conform that not only can I waltz around the
dance floor, but thanks to Penny, Peter and David I am now a dance
convert.
I
am looking forward to the Tea Dance at Pinder Hall, Cookham on
Friday 17th May 2.20 – 4.30pm which is open to dancers
of all levels, which includes me!
There
are still a few tickets left – but be quick as this is bound to be
a sell-out!
