A packed Pinder Hall seating everyone in a club environment, so that the performers were very much linked with the audience, was a great hit on Friday night at Pinder Hall, although some parts may have been a bit close to the bone. Cookham Comedy Club is an exciting new attraction and was compèred by local comedienne Helen Huscroft and featured six award winning comedians. Local stand up comic Tom Rosenthal, who parents live in Cookham Dean, headed the line up. He will be joined by Suzy Bennett, Rik Moore, Sara Pascoe, Brett Goldstein, and Nick Helm. The group have had rave reviews at the Edinburgh Festival.
