A Village Design Statement

As mentioned under Planning above, we believe that it is vital for this Plan to be adopted as a formal document in the Borough’s planning process and the Local Development Framework. Before this can be achieved, it is necessary to prepare a Village Design Statement. This would offer guidance on the design and character of buildings in future developments. This has not been part of our remit. Accordingly, we propose that a Village Design Statement should be prepared.
