We consider that all our local Schools are very important assets for our Village, and we urge the retention of places for local children at them. We have considered whether all of our Primary Schools are needed over the next twenty years. Our children go to Maidenhead for their senior education, and we in turn provide primary places for part of Maidenhead. We support the continuation of this practice. We have addressed elsewhere the problems of traffic congestion and parking and the use of facilities. We urge that wherever possible a more efficient use of transport is used to get children to school, including, where appropriate, school buses. Wherever possible, measures should be introduced to improve the safety of those who walk to school.
