HAPPY & GLORIOUS Sat 4th June 5pm on the Village Green As part of the Jubilee celebrations in Cookham Dean we at SJB are organising this time of thanksgiving for the queen’s long reign, marked with prayers and singing some of her majesty’s favourite hymns. Hymns to be sung will Include “Praise My Soul The King Of Heaven”, “The Lord’s My Shepherd (Crimond)”, “All People That On Earth Do Dwell” and “Lord For The Years”, and, of course, The National Anthem. There will be a collection, with all money raised being donated to the Ukraine Appeal. No limit on the numbers attending! You are also welcome to bring some food & drink to share with your friends afterwards. |
