You may be able to assist publicise the £150 scheme to those eligible. As you maybe aware, Government require local authorities to pay residents who were liable for Council Tax in a Band A-D property on 01.04.22, a grant of £150 in order to assist with rising energy costs. 
There will be some Band D homes in Cookham
 
To date, RBWM have awarded £3.2m in such awards. However, they have identified approximately 8,000 residents who have yet to make an application for their £150.  They have until the end of September to finalise these payments and will write to those eligible who have not applied as that deadline approaches. However, they would like to encourage as many residents as possible to apply before the need to do that. Unfortunately, uptake is slowing down. As an example, last week they sent approximately 4,500 e-mails to residents but this only resulted in 800 applications.
