: A DAY OUT FOR ALL AGES : Cookham Webmaster July 23, 2022, 01:16:01 AM HIGHLY RECCOMEND Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital Haddenham (outskirts of Thame) to visit, a local but REALLY cheap day out, they do talks about wildlife throughout the day and craft activities run in summer (admission 10:30am & 2:30pm) with a children’s play area,zip line (also arrange of push along toys&scooters etc) shop (that sells ice cream,sandwiches,crisps,a few cakes/muffins, drinks that are both hot and cold) and picnic area
The viewing windows into the hospital you can see the nurses hard at work feeding and treating the animals (LOTS of baby hedgehogs,birds,squirrels &mouse) They also have a bone and history museum area where you can learn about how they treat animals and the history behind the charity ALL money goes directly into the care and rehabilitation of the animals but also provide medical treatment so they can be released back into the wild I visit ALL the time and have a membership card (which cost £36 for the year) Prices taken from their website and photos from website and social media page It’s open 10-4pm Monday-Saturday (you just turn up) Category Tickets Adult £6.90 Children (3-18) £4.90 Under 3s Free Concessions (over 65s and students with ID)£4.90 Family (2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult & 3 children) £19 |
