: M4 closed tonight between Slough and Maidenhead : Cookham Webmaster August 09, 2022, 06:49:54 PM A busy stretch of the M4 motorway is set to be closed overnight to allow Smart Motorway works to take place. The westbound carriageway of the M4 westbound is set to be shut to traffic tonight (Tuesday, August 9).
A diversion will be in place while National Highways have the road shut. The closure will be in place between 8pm on Tuesday night and 6am on Wednesday morning, August 10. The work is being carried out as part of the ongoing project to convert the M4 into a Smart Motorway. Work on the long-running project is set to be completed later this year. |
