Planned motorway closures have been postponed this week ahead of the Queen's funeral. Roadworks were due to take place this week on motorways that include the M25, M11, M3, M4, and M23.

All M4 closures have been postponed and this includes the postponement of a full-weekend closure of the M4 eastbound and westbound at Junction 4B and 5 in Langley, near Slough. National Highways has cancelled these roadworks to try and tackle congestion.

It is thought that lots of people will be travelling to and from London during the weekend to commemorate the life of the Queen. Roadworks will be paused until after the Queen's funeral, which will be held on Monday, September 19.
