Title: Museum displays children's tributes to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Post by: Cookham Webmaster on September 23, 2022, 08:48:51 PM Come along to Windsor & Royal Borough Museum to see a touching display of nearly 800 paper hearts featuring tributes from local schoolchildren to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
BBC Radio Berkshire invited children to commemorate and reflect upon her long life and reign, by decorating special 'Royal Hearts', and we’ve put them all on public display inside the museum and outside on the Cornmarket. These personal tributes, featuring heartfelt words and beautiful drawings, can be seen until Sunday 2 October. The museum opens Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm. |
