Live Aid hero ‘Sir’ Bob Geldof is coming to Let’s Rock the Moor next year. The Boomtown Rats frontman was behind the multi-million selling charity Band Aid single ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas’ and the massive Live Aid concerts, both of which featured some of music’s biggest stars and raised money to help victims of the famine in Ethiopia.

His amazing charity work earned the Irish singer and musician an honorary knighthood. In 2013, he reformed the Boomtown Rats, who had a string of smash hit singles including No 1s I Don’t Like Mondays and Rat Trap.

And now he is bringing his band to Marsh Meadow in Cookham on Saturday, May 20, 2023, for the annual Let’s Rock The Moor retro festival. Thousands of fans will flock to the fields to enjoy a day of live music from some of the biggest bands of the 70s, 80s and 90s.
