Title: Crime Prevention and Tips For Halloween Post by: Thames Valley Police on October 28, 2022, 03:40:25 PM As Halloween is almost upon us this is just a reminder of some simple advice to help you have a fun and safe evening.
We understand Halloween is a scary & fun occasion, but please take care not to frighten elderly or vulnerable people. Children, don’t be offended if your local shop does not serve you with eggs or flour. We have been working with local stores to discourage these sales to young people. This is at the shops discretion. Attached is a leaflet that can be printed out and placed by your front door, if you would like to discourage trick or treaters on this night. There is also a list of tips to make sure everyone stays happy and safe whilst out and about in their community. Thames Valley Police will not tolerate any anti-social behaviour at anytime of the year. To report anti-social behaviour please call the 24 hour non emergency number on 101. If it is a crime in progress, call 999 immediately. https://assets.neighbourhoodalert.co.uk/images/site_images/91014_no_trick_or_treat_halloween.pdf Message Sent By Dawn James (Police, Neighbourhood Administrator, Windsor & Maidenhead) |
