Title: Young Archaeologists' Christmas Party, Thursday 22nd December Post by: Cookham Webmaster on December 11, 2022, 08:41:28 PM I’m calling anyone who went to the dig at Cookham Church Paddock and who may be interested in the youth archaeology initiative in Cookham and the surrounding area that started at the dig this Summer.
Do you have children, grandchildren, nieces/nephews, great-nephews, great-nieces, or friends with any of the foregoing who may be interested in joining in? We have arranged a Christmas Party to bring back together the youngsters who came to the dig in the Summer for a fun and (slightly) educational afternoon. This is really to keep momentum going for the group as we go into a New Year with activities programmed leading up to next year’s dig in the Church Paddock. So, it’s a nice opportunity to widen the group; if you have any youngsters in mind who could be interested, we would be pleased to see them.
