The shocking figure emerged at Thursday’s people overview and scrutiny panel, where councillors were debating the draft budget which is set to be approved next month. The Conservative-run council, which has been blue since 2007, cut council tax around a decade ago when councils were allowed to raise tax by one per cent. |
