We’re inviting you to join His Majesty The King’s Coronation celebrations this May by applying to hold street parties in your community. The Coronation will take place on Saturday 6 May. Events marking the Coronation will be held over the course of the weekend, including the additional Bank Holiday on Monday 8 May. To ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time, we’re asking anyone wishing to hold a street party on the public highway to ensure they apply for a temporary road closure by the deadline of 4pm on Friday 17 February. The application window first opened two weeks ago.
