The position is day time only with very occasional evening work for events. We are seeking a friendly and professional team member to contribute in all aspects of delivering excellent quality and service to our customers. You must be interested in food and preferably have experience of dealing with short order food. You must also have excellent communication skills.
Suitable candidates will ideally have some experience in a food preparation environment, but more important is a cool head and an interest in cooking / food. Please do not apply for this position if you are looking for summer or just weekend work, and/or are currently in full-time education. The Café is open 7 days per week so weekend working is a requirement of this role, along with very occasional evening for special events. About Stubbings: This well-established prestige garden centre situated in a beautiful 80-acre Estate is seeking a quality driven inspirational Cook. The 70 cover Café, serves a contemporary breakfast menu, light lunches, snacks, daily specials, Afternoon Tea, coffees and home-made cakes with as much as possible sourced locally.
