The Maidenhead and District Talking Newspaper Association was founded in 1984 and run by volunteers to offer a free service to bring audio recordings of the Maidenhead Advertiser to the visually impaired residents of the SL6 postal area. Sound recordists are trained on its recording equipment that records the teams who read the news and other articles from the Advertiser.
