No entry gained and nothing stolen. RIVERSIDE & BELMONT: NO CRIME TO REPORT. MAIDENHEAD WEST maidenheadwestnhpt@thamesvalley.pnn.police.uk BISHAM, COOKHAM, HURLEY, THE WALTHAMS, LITTLEWICK GREEN & KNOWL HILL: 12/4 Friday 12.30 p.m. Hungerford Lane, Shurlock Row. The owner left the property, but saw a white van nearby. A few minutes later, someone inside the house heard loud banging, but ignored it. A few minutes later a man walked into their room. He was surprised, asked if the owner of the house was home and immediately made off. Nothing taken. 14/4 Sunday midnight / 040 a.m. Pub / restaurant Car Park, Bisham Road. Security found a car with a rear windscreen smashed - not known if anything stolen. 12/4 - 15/4 Friday 4 p.m. / Monday 7.50 a.m. Terry’s Lane, Cookham. Digger stolen from a building site. 11/4 - 12/4 Thursday 6 p.m. / Friday 5.15 p.m. Broom Hill, Cookham. Rear index plate stolen. PINKNEYS GREEN & FURZE PLATT: NO CRIME TO REPORT. MAIDENHEAD SOUTH maidenheadsouthnhpt@thamesvalley.pnn.police.uk BOYN HILL, COX GREEN & WOODLANDS PARK: 12/4 - 13/4 Friday 6 p.m. / Saturday 1.30 p.m. Westborough Road X 2. Wing mirrors broken on two cars. 12/4 Friday midnight / 5 a.m. Norry’s Drive. CAR ENTERED BY UNKNOWN MEANS - Charging cable, vehicle tracker and loose change stolen. OLDFIELD & BRAY: 14/4 Sunday 6.30 p.m. Fishery Road - house being renovated. Alarm company contacted the police to say there was a burglary in progress and several sensors triggered. Police attended immediately. Access had been gained by removing a pane of glass from a window at the rear of the property. The alarm sounded and the offenders made off. After 20 minutes, the alarm stopped sounding and they returned and tried to disable the CCTV server. Police attended with dog teams and located a man hiding in bushes nearby. A car was also located near the cricket club. CCTV from a neighbour has footage covering the two offenders. The man that was apprehended was arrested on suspicion of burglary dwelling. There are leads to possibly identify the second man involved. |
