WildCookham's Honorary Treasurer since our inception, Stephanie Papillon, is planning to hang up her abacus. She's done a great job of looking after our accounts for several years but wants to move on and help us in other ways - with our immense gratitude. Which means that we are now looking for someone to take on this role. Our accounts are pretty simple and you don't need to be an accountant to do it. Essentially it's a question of keeping track of our modest expenses and any income we generate, at present mainly from donations, plus paying out cheques when needed and arranging bank transfers. We currently use a fairly basic spreadsheet which is easy to operate (though we're always open to more sophisticated approaches if you wish). WildCookham is engaging in more activities which makes it all the more important that we have somebody to look after the money, but we don't foresee things getting that complicated in the foreseeable future.
