Title: Crime Update Post by: Thames Valley Police on May 31, 2019, 05:20:31 PM We have recently seen a series of burglaries, where CCTV shows the offenders inside properties wearing motorbike helmets and one wearing a High Viz yellow jacket. This ties up with a series happening across borders including Surrey. They apparently drive to and from burglaries on mopeds, which is fairly unusual. If you see anything matching this MO and your attention is drawn to people on mopeds, where perhaps that is completely out of the ordinary, because it looks odd or suspicious, consider using the 999 number to report it. Otherwise pass us intelligence on the 101 number or by using the reporting page on the Thames Valley Police Website.
May I pass my thanks to Anke, for inviting me to talk to her Sequila group last Tuesday. Anke runs a small charity for those suffering from neurological disorders, including Parkinsons. They meet up at the Cricket Club off Summerleaze Road. They have talks and lunch. As I arrived, they were having a session in chair based exercise, to keep them as mobile as possible.
