Really nice Summer evening in Cookham rise.Some idiot lights a bonfire.Windows open so house full of smoke, isn't it time they were banned.Why are they neccessary ?

I thought there were bylaws about lighting bonfires, I am not sure what they are though. There is a sillage hay fire between Cookham Rise and Long Lane. The fire engines have been called out.

Like the comment 'Birdman'  - I had also thought the same, when I saw posts about it on Face Book. I wondered at the time if the 'Tractor Shed' had been set alight ready for a bigger ground singe foot print...  ::)
