CRIME
MAIDENHEAD CENTRAL:

26/7  Friday 3.10 p.m.  Cordwallis Road.  A witness reported three lads deliberately setting fire to a fence with an accelerant.  Minor damage caused.
26/7  Friday 3.40 p.m.  Stafferton Way.  Police received a report that someone was stealing copper from a building and had given chase.  The offender jumped into a van and tried to drive away, when the witness blocked their exit.  The offender drove past him on the pavement and then drove into a cul de sac.  The police attended immediately and arrested the driver and the other man on suspicion of committing a burglary.  The offenders had committed between £5,000 - £10,000 worth of damage, to remove the copper plating from the mains circuits.
27/7  Saturday 9/30 a.m. / 11.30 a.m.  Moorbridge Road.  Car badly keyed.
26/7 - 28/7  Friday 5 p.m. / Sunday 11.30 a.m.  St. Luke’s Road.  Van parked up and locked, broken into.  The aggrieved discovered it unlocked and items stolen from the back.
28/7 - 29/7  Sunday 11 p.m. / Monday 6.45 a.m.  Powney Road.  Locked up motorbike with 2 locks stolen.  A black, Malaguti motorbike, index YN ** AUJ.

BISHAM, COOKHAM, HURLEY, THE WALTHAMS, LITTLEWICK GREEN & KNOWL HILL:
26/7 - 28/7  Friday 7 p.m. / Sunday 3 p.m.  Sutton Road, Cookham.  The owner returned to find her car rear windscreen smashed and Laptop stolen.
 
PINKNEYS GREEN & FURZE PLATT:
28/7  Sunday 9.40 a.m. / 10.20 a.m.  Sutton Road.  A witness reported a rear windscreen damaged.  The owner returned to find it smashed.  Laptop stolen.
26/7  Friday 5.45 p.m. / 6.10 p.m.  Sandringham Road.  The elderly resident heard the doorbell ring.  By the time she got to the front door, whoever was there had gone and taken her 4 wheel Zimmer frame, from outside the front door.

BOYN HILL, COX GREEN & WOODLANDS PARK:
26/7  Friday 10.45 p.m.  Hare shoots.  Attempted to break into a van.  Alarm activated when someone drilled a hole above the lock and thieves made off.
27/7  Saturday 8 p.m.  The Thickett, Cannon Lane.  Wildlife crime.  Badger set destroyed.  Garden waste piled on top of the set and logs pushed into the entrance.  This has been reported to the RSPA who will visit the site and investigate.
 
OLDFIELD & BRAY:
26/7  Friday 2.22 a.m.  Monkey Island Lane, Bray.  CCTV shows a Transit van entering the compound through a hole in the fence and stealing a Tower light.
25/7 - 26/7  Thursday 10/30 p.m. / Friday 4 p.m.  Ferndale Park, Fifield Road, Bray.  Catalytic converter stolen from under a car.
