I see the leader of the Contemptive and Unicornist Party has decided it is possible to comply with the law by sending an unsigned document and a covering letter say you do not agree with it. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-50112924

As his party is in power in the Royal Borough, I trust it is now acceptable for us to respond to a demand for Council Tax for the people of Cookham to send an unsigned cheque with a covering letter saying that we do not believe that paying "would damage the interests of Cookham and our RBWM partners, and the relationship between us.

A photocopied cheque even, a badly photocopied one even!

Perhaps the appropriate measure taken by the originator of this topic would have been to criticise the undemocratic actions of the hazy Blue, Red, Yellow and Green brigades (predominantly Remoaners) in Parliament who seek only to stop Brexit happening, against the wishes of 15.5 million people - a majority of 1.75 million.

Should THAT have been achieved as the the process was being blatantly undermined by the anti-Brexiteers, then perhaps that cringing letter (yet again seeking a postponement of the process) would not have been necessary.

Best of three referendums … or five … or seven... anyone?!!

I must admit I have got to the point I just don’t care if we. stay or leave just get it all over with. It is rather like being tortured you agree to anything... as long as it stops.

Well, if nothing else, it will hopefully signal the end of party politics, which has been a broken system for many years. Bring on the independents. It is your season next.

With yet another blockage yesterday (21 Oct), it now seems inevitable that there will be an election before Brexit reappears on the horizon.
One hopes that the Johnson and the Conservatives are returned to Government with an absolute and clear majority thus enabling them
to carry out the Referendum decree of 2016 without adverse rebuttals and delaying tactics from the Remoaners.

Of which, one hopes, the likes of Letwin, Hammond, Grieve and Swinson (the lady from La La land with 12 members in the chamber(!)
who went to Brussels to specifically canvas the EU to stop Brexit happening - treacherous or what?!) are all consigned to the shredders
and dustbins of history.

It is their likes who have squandered all attempts of the Government to exit the EU properly and in accordance with the Peoples vote of 2016.

What I don’t understand is the original Article 50 vote was 498 votes for to 114 against. Have so many people got an attack of amnesia or have they been attacked by body snatchers.

I think perhaps an attack of both … !

I find it astonishing how the majority of Remain backing MP's forget the fundamentals and the manifesto pledge (Leave EU) for which
they stood (on BOTH sides of the House) and were consequently elected in 2015 - and then turn about face and pursue their own
mandate by obstructing the passage of Brexit by citing democracy as their reason for doing so.

Explain please!!
