A Borough Local Plan Public meeting is to be held on 25th November 2019 at Moor Hall, Cookham starting at 7.00pm. Councillor Coppinger will be attending and also asked Interim Head of Planning James Carpenter to attend. This is important issue for Cookham residents where 270 dwelling been proposed on Lower Mount Farm, Strand Park and Gas holder site.

Build in Strand Park and you will need to buy hip waders! Glad to see a brown site is on the list!

Well the meeting at Moor Hall is over. I hope the locals gave the planners a roasting! Come to think of it there are quite a lot of Brown Sites in the Maidenhead and Windsor area that could be upgraded to apartment dwellings. So stop tinkering with Cookham's Green Belt. Farmers are going to have to start farming again when Brexit takes place.

Comments regarding the Borough Local Plan could be brought to Planning Inspectors in the spring.
