FIRST - ANOTHER SEXTORTION CASE !
 
This time, the victim is young, having been born in 1998.
 
The aggrieved was registered on a dating website.  He started chatting using Whatsapp to what he believed to be a woman.  The conversation lead to him sending an intimate photo.
 
The ‘Woman’ then confirmed he was a man, who had also copied all of his contacts.  He said he would send the photo to everyone on that list, if he didn’t send £350 !
 
The aggrieved is really anxious, his family never find out.
 
PLEASE, THINK ABOUT THIS AND NEVER SEND ANYONE, HOWEVER MUCH YOU TRUST THEM AT THIS TIME, INTIMATE PHOTOS.  You never know where they will go if you fall out, or who will be sharing them.
 
ALSO - SENDING INDECENT IMAGES VIA A PHONE IS AN OFFENCE.  Apart from being charged, you may have your phone confiscated for many months, while our High Tech Crime Unit checks it !!!

These are some of the new schemes or intended schemes which have come about in the past six months in Maidenhead thanks to the increase in enthusiasm and interest in establishing and running NHW schemes for the general good of the community.
 
Barn Drive, Derek Road, Frances Avenue, Thicket Grove, Newlands Drive, Cheniston Grove, The Bryher,  Suffolk Road, Hibbert Road, Rylestone Close, Castle Drive, Clarefield Drive, PInkneys Road (North). Walker Road..

John has done a brilliant job over the last year and has now tied up with a NHW name from the past - Mike Holness, - who was the Chair of the Maidenhead NHW Association for many years.  His task for this year, now that he has his feet securely under the table - is to make contact with roads, where several residents receive my Alert messages, but they are not a registered NHW / Mapped NHW scheme.  If you are in that category, or receive messages and feel it is time your road became a NHW Scheme, please email him, at his email at the bottom of this message
 
CRIME
MAIDENHEAD CENTRAL:

3/1  Friday 4 p.m.  Court Road.  Burglary.  A witness attended the property and found all the doors open.  Not sure how entry was gained nor if anything has been stolen at this time.
6/1  Monday Sheephouse Road.  The owner returned and found a blue Peugeot parked outside the house.  They also noticed their side gate was open.  A man then emerged from the rear, saying he was checking properties and had knocked on the front door.  He walked past the aggrieved and got into the car and drove off.  He is described as having closely cropped afro hair, he was wearing a zipped up sage green parka which went down to his knees.  When she entered the property she found the rear patio door was smashed and the frame damaged.  No entry gained and nothing stolen.  Do you live nearby /  Do you have a video Doorbell / CCTV.  Can you please check it to see if you were also targeted, but no crime took place.
4/1  Saturday 10 a.m. / 7.40 p.m.  Leisure Centre, St. Cloud Way.  Grey Yamaha motorbike, index LD ** TZO stolen from outside.
 
RIVERSIDE & BELMONT:
1/1 - 3/1  Ray Park Road.  Car rear windscreen smashed.

BISHAM, COOKHAM, HURLEY, THE WALTHAMS, LITTLEWICK GREEN & KNOWL HILL:
4/1 - 6/1  Saturday 12 noon / Monday 8 a.m.  Berries Road, Cookham.  Skip loader stolen from a construction site.  The offenders dismantled the compound gate.  They started it by unknown means and used it to ram other vehicles out of the way.
 
PINKNEYS GREEN & FURZE PLATT:
25/12 - 6/1  Breadcroft Road.  Burglary.  Entry via rear forced rear door.  Kitchen searched - cash and iPad stolen.
6/1  Monday 0.40 a.m.  Cornwall Close.  The owners were about to go to bed, when they heard their front gate opening and their security lights going on.  They saw a man in white T shirt, attempt to steal their motorbike. The offender realised he had been seen and immediately made off.

3/1  Friday 4.30 p.m.  Lambourne Drive.  Van break - tools stolen.
5/1 - 6/1  Sunday 5 p.m. / Monday 9.30 a.m.  Stratford Gardens.  CAR ENTERED BY UNKNOWN MEANS - and searched.  Two Chelsea season tickets stolen.
