Catalytic converter stolen from under a Toyota Auris. If you have a targeted type of car, there are cages and metal plates which can be fitted under your car to prevent the converter being stolen. Due to the number being stolen, car dealerships sometimes have to wait several months to locate a replacement !!! Something to be aware of - Scam and fraud telephone calls & emails will not stop coming at this time ! An elderly resident in Holyport has had repeated automatic calls from someone saying they are a roofing company, who maintained they had previously done some work for her, to make an appointment to come and view the property. Storage shed at school containing cleaning products broken into Toilet rolls, disinfectant, plastic sacks and blue paper towels stolen. 17/3 - 18/3 Tuesday 5 p.m. / Wednesday 1.50 p.m. Choseley Road, Knowl Hill. Car index plates stolen. PINKNEYS GREEN & FURZE PLATT: NO CRIME TO REPORT. The owner woke up and found tool marks around their door. 16/3 - 17/3 Monday 6.30 p.m. / Tuesday 8.30 a.m. Foxglove Drive. Car passenger window smashed. Not yet known if anything stolen. 17/3 - 18/3 Tuesday 11 p.m. / Wednesday 6.30 a.m. Rylstone Close. Car driver’s side window smashed - PURSE stolen. OLDFIELD, BRAY & HOLYPORT: 16/3 Monday 10 p.m. Hotel car Park, Manor Lane. Van rear door lock drilled - no entry gained. This was witnessed by a taxi driver, dropping someone off. They shouted and a man came up and smashed their passenger window with a baseball bat and made off.
