Title: Sextortion and Crime Update
Post by: Thames Valley Police on July 10, 2020, 04:27:36 PM
ANOTHER SEXTORTION  CASE:
A woman met a man online and they have been chatting for a few months.  During that time, she has shared intimate photos with him.  The man is now demanding a very large sum of money, or he will share the photos with everyone in her personal address book.  She has immediately done the right thing and contacted the police, providing full details of the man, with his contact details.

ONCE AGAIN - Please do not say, or do, anything online, you would not want your parents, family, friends or work colleagues to hear and see.  The technology to copy conversations and images online is just so simple !

PLEASE, PLEASE - DO NOT LET IT BE YOU

OLDFIELD, BRAY & HOLYPORT:
8/7  Wednesday 11.30 a.m. / 2.15 p.m.  Fishery Road.  Burglary.  House having building work done.  Offenders climbed up scaffolding and entered the building via a gap where windows were about to be fitted.  They stole 3 laptops, 2 Rolex watches and a pair of Rayban sunglasses.  Fortunately, the laptops had activated tracker systems installed, which showed them at a particular address.  The police were informed and carried out a Section 18 search of that property.  They recovered a mass of property, believed to have been stolen along with the laptops and the Rolex watches.  A man was arrested on suspicion of burglary / handling stolen property.  Ref. No:  43200206468.  A brilliant result.  Can everyone make sure that tracker software is installed and can be activated on all devices, which could be stolen.  Not only will it assist us to recover the items, but just as importantly, if we find someone in possession of your property, we can charge them with burglary, or an offence with a greater penalty - Handling stolen goods.
