Post by: Cookham Webmaster on July 10, 2020, 09:54:11 PM
Windsor Castle will be open to visitors from Thursday 23 July.

The café and shops at the Castle are open, for everyone’s safety only cashless transactions are accepted. Full price entry tickets must be booked in advance either online or by calling 0303 123 7304. Print your ticket before arriving and ask at the admission centre upon arrival about converting your ticket to a 1-year pass.

If you want to use your Advantage Card for free entry, you will be able to acquire a ticket by presenting your card at the Admission Centre, and do not need to book in advance. Tickets for Advantage Card holders are available on the day only (subject to availability). Please take along your Advantage Card for all those visiting including children, staff will check before entry. The Advantage Card doesn’t allow priority entry, so please be prepared to queue.

At present, libraries aren’t open for new Advantage Cards, so please be patient and plan your trip to the Castle with an Advantage Card for when card issuing plans are finalised. Please don’t attempt to use a borrowed Advantage Card, it will be confiscated. (If your image on the card isn’t clear, take along an additional form of photo ID).
