Title: ** Face mask mandatory from Friday 24th July 2020 when going into shops ** Post by: Cookham Webmaster on July 23, 2020, 01:24:35 AM At Cookham Pharmacy, it’s been so encouraging to see so many patients and customers wearing a face mask/ face covering. This means covering mouth AND nose.
I would encourage everyone to get used to wearing a mask / face covering over the next few days -if you haven’t worn one already - be 24th ready. We appreciate there may be some patients for whom wearing a mask or face covering is challenging - and we will help you in serving you observing social distancing. However, just a quick note to say that if you are wearing a disposable mask, the BLUE is on the OUTSIDE and WHITE on the INSIDE. We’ve got disposable and re-usable masks, hand sanitizers and some stocks of gloves for sale. For patients who rely on lip reading - please simply let us know . A patient came in today with a little note he pulled out from his wallet stating that he needed to communicate by lip reading, please could I remove my mask? - I happily did so and I spoke to him from behind the Perspex screen - this helped reduced the risk and was able to serve him. |
