: RBWM - Covid Report
: Cookham Webmaster August 27, 2020, 01:13:30 AM
Statement from Tessa Lindfield, director of public health for Berkshire. “The data published on 20 August 2020 by https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/, showed an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases previously reported for the Royal Borough.

“We are aware of this and are working to ensure that the numbers don’t increase further. We continue to monitor the data and want to remind residents that they still need to keep two metres apart as much as possible and wash their hands regularly, for 20 seconds or more.

“Anyone who has COVID-19 symptoms (a high temperature, a new continuous cough, or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste) must get a test as soon as possible and within the first five days of having symptoms. To get a test, visit: https://self-referral.test-for-coronavirus.service.gov.uk/antigen/name.

“If you’ve recently returned to the UK from abroad you may need to self-isolate for 14 days. The current list of countries that do not require you to self-isolate when you arrive in England can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-travel-corridors#countries-and-territories-with-no-self-isolation-requirement-on-arrival-in-england. You will need to self-isolate if you have visited or made a transit stop in a country or territory that is not on the list in the 14 days before you arrive in England
