An online service of music, readings and prayer for Remembrance Day. Available on the Holy Trinity Church YouTube channel just before 11am https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTYK9sA_hawCFvDrSWbfHEw/videos The service includes a special recording of Cookham treasure, ex-Parish Councillor and War Memorial stalwart for many years, John Stretton, reading the “Ode of Remembrance”. The service will be available to view at any time after 11am on 11th November. In this troubled year it is hoped that the service can give the opportunity to stop, to remember and to offer thanks and prayers for the sacrifices made in conflict. |
