Title: Crime Update Post by: Thames Valley Police on November 02, 2020, 06:18:47 PM FIRST: Can I thank all those people that phoned through suspicious people and cars, out and about in the early hours. This is exactly the intelligence we need to organise our tasking of officers and resources. Thank you.
NEXT: FRENCH AND FAITH COMMUNITY ADVICE FOLLOWING INCIDENTS IN FRANCE AND SAUDI ARABIA You may be aware of the recent incidents in France and Jeddah which are being reported in the media. We want to reassure you that Counter Terrorism Policing and the Intelligence Services, are speaking to their counterparts in France. We are closely monitoring the situation, but at this time, there has been no intelligence to suggest an increased threat here in the UK. We are working with local policing, to identify French communities in the UK and offering advice and guidance to any faith communities, who may be feeling concerned. Should the situation change, we will take action where necessary, to protect those communities. We would encourage everyone to remind their staff / community, to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the Police. CRIME I have attached reference numbers to each crime report.
