The county has also had two new deaths recorded in the area according to the latest NHS data. Figures released on November 2 showed another 18,950 lab-confirmed cases across the UK were reported as of 9am, meaning the total now stands at 1,053,864. Across the UK, another 136 people have died within 28 days of a positive test, making a total of 46,853 since the start of the pandemic. The new figures come after the Prime Minister announced that England’s set to have a four-week lockdown - running from November 4 until December 2 - in a bid to see infection rates significantly fall before Christmas. This is how the latest figures break down in terms of cases for each area of Berkshire: Reading : 1,711 cases (increase of 28) Slough : 2,016 cases ( increase of 54) Wokingham : 1,367 cases (increase of 23) West Berkshire : 1,108 cases (increase of 20) Windsor and Maidenhead: 1,577 cases (increase of 34) Bracknell Forest : 952 cases (increase of 13) This is the latest data on the total number of deaths at NHS trusts in and around Berkshire: Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust: 391 (one new death) Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust: 224 (one new death) Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust: 20 (no change) |
