Welcome to our wonderful and exclusive new range of wines from Corbières in the heart of the Languedoc Roussillon.  After many years spent managing the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti in Burgundy, Herve Leferrer settled with his wife Pascaline and three children in the South of France, in the Lagrasse Terroir, of AOC Corbières. Romanée-Conti taught Herve Leferrer rigour and excellence, a Burgundian vision and way of winemaking, respect for nature, terroir, and a desire to create!

Domaine Du Grand Crès was born in 1989. In the beginning, there were just a few lost hectares of vines perched atop an eagles nest in the hills. An exceptional Terroir, 300 meters above sea level, difficult to access, surrounded by Mediterranean heath and garrigue.The garrigue was pushed back and planted with carefully chosen grape varieties, choices that were often quirky, but always tailored to the extremly stony, clay-limestone terroir.
 
These wines are created in such a way that is respectful and harmonious to the Terroir and its attributes.  Organic fertilisers are used in limited quantities and the harvest is always carried out by hand and transported in small crates in order to preserve the grapes and avoid bruising the berries.
